The opportunity to bring The Messy Hub to the Southern Suburbs came to me at a time when I was more than ready to grab hold of it!

I’m a mom of two daughters. Their age gap may be quite big, but their energy levels are pretty much the same – extreme! I’m constantly looking for ways to keep them entertained, engaged and, most importantly, learning through play.

That’s where my love for sensory and messy play comes in. Sensory play gives children the freedom to explore the world through touch, sight, sound, smell and movement. From squishing and scooping to pouring, mixing and creating, these simple experiences encourage curiosity, creativity and imagination while supporting important developmental skills.

But sensory play isn’t just about learning, it’s about having FUN! There’s something so special about watching a child completely lose themselves in an activity, discovering something new and enjoying the freedom to make a beautiful mess.

The Messy Hub Southern Suburbs is my way of creating that kind of space, somewhere children can explore, get messy, express themselves and learn through play, while parents get to sit back and enjoy watching their little ones discover the joy of sensory play.

Because sometimes the best learning happens when little hands, big imaginations and a whole lot of mess come together!
